7 Day Tanzania Lodge Safari Ultimate Northern Circuit

After breakfast, you will be picked up from Arusha and depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its vast elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and seasonal river that attracts abundant wildlife. You will enjoy a full game drive inside the park, with chances to see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and a variety of bird species. In the late afternoon, you exit the park and drive to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you depart towards Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. Along the way, you will enjoy changing landscapes from highlands to endless plains. Upon entering Serengeti, you begin an en-route game drive, spotting wildlife as you head toward the central Serengeti (Seronera area), famous for its high concentration of predators. Dinner and overnight inside the park.

This day is dedicated entirely to wildlife viewing in the Serengeti. After breakfast, you depart with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. The Serengeti is home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, giraffes and (seasonally) the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras. Your guide will adjust the route depending on wildlife movements and sightings. Return to lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Another full day in the Serengeti allows for deeper exploration of different regions of the park. You may choose an early morning game drive to catch predators in action, followed by relaxed wildlife viewing throughout the day. This extra day significantly increases your chances of exceptional sightings and provides a more immersive safari experience. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti before departing toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
You will ascend the crater rim in the afternoon and continue to your accommodation in Karatu or near the crater rim, where you can relax and prepare for the crater descent the following day.

After an early breakfast, you will descend about 600 meters into the crater. This is one of the best places in Africa to see wildlife. You may spot lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, flamingos and even the endangered black rhino. You will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor near a hippo pool. In the afternoon, you will drive back up and return to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. The park is known for its beautiful forest, tree-climbing lions, flamingos and large groups of baboons. You will enjoy a game drive before leaving the park in the afternoon. After that, you will drive back to Arusha, where your safari ends. Drop-off at your hotel or the airport can be arranged.
