Day 1
Hotel to Londorossi Gate & Mti Mkubwa Camp
After breakfast and a trek briefing, your Climb Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route 8 Days adventure begins with a drive to Londorossi Park Gate, a journey of about 3 hours. After registration and park formalities, continue by 4x4 forest track toward Lemosho Glades. From here, walk through beautiful montane forest trails to Mti Mkubwa Camp, also known as Big Tree Camp. This first trekking day gives a gentle introduction to the western side of Mount Kilimanjaro. Elevation rises from about 1,830 meters to 2,650 meters. Distance is approximately 6 kilometers, with a hiking time of 2 to 3 hours.
