Spend a full day exploring Central Serengeti. Your guide will follow wildlife movement and recent sightings to give you the best possible game drive experience. The area is famous for predator activity, open plains, kopjes, riverine habitats, and strong year-round wildlife viewing. This day gives excellent opportunities for photography and relaxed observation before continuing north on the migration route.

After breakfast, drive from Central Serengeti toward Northern Serengeti. The journey itself is a full safari experience, passing through changing habitats and wildlife areas. Depending on the season, you may see large herds moving north toward the Mara River. Arrive in Northern Serengeti, one of the key areas for Great Migration river crossing safaris, and settle into your camp.

Spend the day exploring Northern Serengeti and the Mara River area. During the crossing season, wildebeest and zebras may gather near the river before attempting to cross. River crossings are natural events and cannot be guaranteed, but your guide will position you in productive areas based on movement and sightings. The region also offers excellent wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, and plains game.

Enjoy another full day in Northern Serengeti to increase your chances of seeing migration action. Your guide will track herd movement, river activity, predator behavior, and seasonal grazing patterns. This extended time is valuable because Great Migration sightings depend on weather, herd movement, and natural timing. The day is ideal for wildlife photography, river scenes, and classic Serengeti landscapes.

After breakfast, begin the journey back toward Central Serengeti with game viewing along the way. This route gives another opportunity to see wildlife across the Serengeti’s varied landscapes. You may encounter elephants, buffalo, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and large herds depending on the season. Arrive in Central Serengeti for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy a final Serengeti game drive as you leave the park and travel toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The day offers more wildlife viewing and scenic changes from open plains to crater highlands. After early breakfast, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive on the crater floor.
